Justin Marks, MPH
Grant Coordinator
Justin aspires to work in the global health sector. He is a double graduate from Case Western Reserve University with an undergraduate degree in philosophy where he focused on ethics and a Master’s of Public Health in which he focused his studies on global health.
During the course of his undergraduate and master’s, Justin spent time working for the admissions office, working for the ethics center, and conducting research. He also spent three years in executive positions of his fraternity, including roles as vice-president and president. Additionally, he spent time working for the Office of Integrated Ethics in the Cleveland Veteran’s Association Medical Center where he worked towards ensuring healthy clinical environments for both patients and health care providers.
Justin has a strong belief that, in public health, resources should always go towards the population most at need, regardless of who it is. He believes that it takes more than an initial glance to understand root health disparities in a population and in the value of achieving nuanced understanding of issues.
