Transforming the narrative of mental health in medicine

Medical Minds Matter is a volunteer-led startup nonprofit organization that seeks to transform the narrative of mental health in the medical field through storytelling, community-building, and grassroots advocacy efforts.

Compared to the general population, physicians have double the rate of suicide.

The AnonyMed Initiative

Because your story matters.

Telling your story through our AnonyMed Initiative helps to dismantle stigma, normalizing the conversation surrounding mental health and showing others in the medical community that they are not alone in their emotional struggles.

Don’t feel comfortable sharing? That’s okay – most don’t! The AnonyMed Initiative provides the option of protecting your identity while sharing your story – a powerful first step in making an impact.

The Daily Dosage Blog

The Daily Dosage Blog strives to provide perspectives from real physicians, medical and pre-medical students, and allied health professionals on how to navigate the world of medicine – everything from self-care tips to interviews to first-person narratives and “day in the life” blogs.

Our Chapters

Medical Minds Matter aims to create a chapter network at undergraduate and medical school institutions across the nation to create grassroots advocacy and peer support for future medical professionals. Let’s change the narrative of mental health in medicine!
